Unbridled greed again triumphs common sense! Wells #60743 and 60786 put the City of Adrian's Drinking Water Intake in danger of contamination. It's just a long procession of the DEQs obtuse and insensitive practice of allowing increased pollution into the Drinking Water of the average citizen. Hence Loch Erin Wastewater Treatment Plant has repeatedly increased their Discharge to Wolf Creek when the State Guidelines prohibit this upstream of Drinking Water Intakes. The DEQ intentionally avoided Public Comment of the NPDES and Groundwater Discharge Permits by Posting these proposed changes at the Onsted Post office (so small it closes for lunch or for the delivery of mail).
