Blog Netiquette:
- It is good internet etiquette to attack issues and not people. A good argument is not personal; it stands on its own merits and argues issues, topics, and subjects rather than personal prejudices and irrelevant points.
- It is proper netiquette to communicate effectively without cursing or swearing. Please make also sure to check your spelling and grammar to avoid misunderstandings and to honor your reader's time.
- Treat others as you would like be treated.
- Of course you can state your own opinion. But when you do, stick to the facts and refrain from any "verbal assaults" on others.
- Respect the rights of others to also express their own opinion and do not try to force your views upon them.
- We will delete any comments or postings containing or posing insults, harassment, stalking, threats, attacks or other violations of legal third-party rights (such as personal rights or the right to privacy).
- Defamatory, abusive, obscene, vulgar, violence-depicting/glorifying, misleading or illegal content and/or corresponding links will also be deleted.
- Comments classified as spam, commercial advertising or calls for donations will likewise be removed.
- Please do not post any personal data, such as addresses and phone numbers – to protect you and others - these will also be deleted.
- It is proper netiquette to moderate blog comments because negative comments can hurt the online image of a blog. From now on we will moderate comments.
