Central Processing Facility (Tank Farm) on Witt Farm

The tank farm and well on Witt Farm are PRODUCING! The separators are humming and a flare is burning hidden in the new low standing burn-off tank - you can see the heat in the video.

The producing well

The roaring separator where brine, gas and oil are separated by heat

The gas is not harvested but flared gasing off dangerous gases and combustion products hidden in a open roof tank.

Storage tanks surrounded by earth walls and lined with plastic to catch oil spills.
The 2nd row shows the truck loading station.

Open Pit full with? - Storage tanks in background

The surface of the facility is leveled with ground walls keeping surface runoff from M52 but directing runoff directly into the nationally registered wetland on site!!!
Besides - the soild is highly draining thus not keeping eventual spills to the surface!

Current Wells around Adrian

The below map shows the currently operational oil and injection wells as well as well sites already permitted.

I just downloaded the well location in an excel file and generated a Google Earth file from it:

Legend: Blue are injection wells, green are oil wells, and white are new permits.

More Flagging in Heritage Park and Rauisin Township

Fore flagging through sensitive wetlands in Heritage Park. Some showing already buried charges. Nice transects that cut through all kinds of landscape regardless its potential for groundwater pollution and destruction of rare and vulnerable habitats. A friend told us that they are also very active in Raisin township around E Valley Rd and N Wilmoth Hwy.

Heritage Park Update

Victoria Powell emailed me this today:
I went out to the Heritage Park today.....no rig, no mess, spooky.
Had a good chat with a worker from GLC geophysicial. An extended seismatic testing out/near and around the Stubnitz Environmental Center.
The M52 tank farm is very busy: 4 huge holding tanks upright (to be painted soon so as to mute the color), and one taller green tank which will hide the flare. A bigger collar of dirt surrounds the site........
and lots of activity noted at 2:30 p.m.

Welcome

Welcome to this brand new blog. I will try to open it to all who want to contribute. Blogger has a limit of 100 users as much I now. It will be barebone for a while as I am new to this and do not have a lot of time...

Heritage Park 2/15/2013

Rig gone, well capped. All cleaned up but open pit with drilling mud.  Informer states that Savoy found oil at site. Surveyed areas marked with flags will be drilled with 10 ft. drills and detonated for additional seismic testing.
